AUXCOMM - Auxiliary Communications Workshop:

The Department of Homeland Security / FEMA offers a two day course in Auxiliary Communications. This course deals with interoperable communicartions and how volunteer emergency communicators operate within the Incident Command System during a disaster or emergency operations. It consistes of lecture, discussion, and tabletop exercises. This is a long but worthwhile course for ARES Emergency Coordnators or anyone seriously interested in volunteer emergency communicatons.

This workshop was presented June 2015 at SUNY Oswego's classroom facility. in Phoenix NY. It may be offered in other locations in NewYork
